Around Braunston
Things to do near Braunston
Braunston has four pubs, all within walking distance. The Boathouse is by the canal, just across the road from the bottom of our front field, four minutes away. The Old Plough (seven minutes) and the Wheatsheaf (twelve) are in the middle of the village, and the Admiral Nelson is twenty minutes along the canal, beside a lock. There is also a general store, a tea room and a fish-and-chip shop. The canals, castles, country houses and Silverstone are all an easy run.
